Shravya Solanki's life had changed drastically when a hurricane of events full of bad luck and toxicity ran over her life.
A life she'd lived so far had turned into something she'd been unconsciously trying to suppress underneath the ground like a grave.
She was at fault. She did not see past the present that could ruin her future. She suffered the consequences of her own as well as the mistakes of others.
There was nothing she could do other than clinging onto the one thing she was good at- resilience.
She knew it'll be over one day, she just had to keep hoping and holding on but it was easier said than done.
Although she had been walking around on the eggshells for quite some time now, someone walked in her life like the fresh bloom of flowers and warm rays of sunlight after a heavy rain.
Shravya had never imagined her life would change overnight all over again when the ex-professor, who was well aware of what shameful disaster she'd been a part of had come forward with a marriage proposal for her.
The ex-professor was someone she'd never really paid attention to. He was someone who was nothing more than a side character of her story not long ago. Someone who had successfully swept her off her feet slowly and steadily with time afterwards much to her own surprise.
The man was anything but an open book. He had his reasons and he'd never planned to tell her about it until she'd eventually found out all about it in her own way.
They'd barely conversed in the beginning and yet as the time passed and they became closer, she could tell the man held feelings deeply engraved in his heart for her.
She didn't know what he had in mind when he'd come to her house with his parents. Neither could she figure out the reason behind his decision for marrying her. He wasn't in an unrequited love with her, she was sure of that at least- or was he? They never had any particular encounters other than meeting in the classroom or while passing through the college corridors.
He was not a man of mystery but definitely a man Shravya found herself drawn to and falling in love with in the journey of trying to figure out the feelings behind his resilience.

Hi there!
❥ FTR?
◕ Welcome to another very old book with marriage trope I've penned (rewritten) down through procrastination all over again. Sometimes I wonder if I'm just an arranged marriage trope biased person or I'm just too old.
◕ It's going to be a bittersweet tale with a happy ending focused on a normal mundane married life of the leads (very raw and middle class tbf) and a little drama for the spice.
◕ On another note, some things might seem unrealistic but they actually happen in real life so I'd suggest to keep your perspective a little broader and slightly go back to old times. Conservative people are just as real as you and me after-all (even today). At the end of the day let's also not forget that it's fiction.
◕ It's been revised/rewritten for the third time so certainly there are some major plot changes and extra additions. Although if you do find any mistakes, feel free to point them out, they'll be rectified asap since it's going to be the first draft that I've published here.
◕ I hope all the readers will be respectful when commenting on the characters or the author.
◕ Please don't copy or plagiarize. It really takes a lot to be creative and brainstorm through ideas.
◕ The cast is up to the imagination of the readers as always and the chapters are neither too long nor short. It's going to be a feel good read with slight sprinkle of angst so if you're here for something like that, you're in for a ride. :D
